I did SATS for 3 months and nothing happened

Long, faithful practice with no visible movement almost always means the daytime state contradicts the nighttime scene.

Whats actually happening

Three months of nightly SATS is roughly 90 sessions of ten minutes: 15 hours in the wish fulfilled. The other 2,145 waking hours were spent somewhere, and if they were spent in the old state — checking, sighing, explaining to yourself why it has not come — then the ledger is not close. The law reads your dominant state, not your best ten minutes.

There is also a subtler version: the sessions themselves were thinking OF the desire (watching a movie about it, wanting it hard) rather than FROM it. Ninety repetitions of "I want this" impress exactly that: the wanting.

Finally, check what the practice quietly became. If SATS turned into a nightly transaction — "I do the scene, you deliver the thing" — the very doing of it, night after anxious night, affirmed non-possession. A person who has the thing does not petition for it nightly.

The correction

  1. 1

Stop grading the three months and audit the state instead. For one ordinary day, notice every time your inner voice speaks about the desire. Count the "not yet" votes honestly. That count, not the calendar, is the diagnosis.

  2. 2

Rebuild the scene with the conclusiveness test: could your scene happen if the desire were NOT fulfilled? If yes, rewrite it until it could not. Then shorten it to seconds.

  3. 3

Shift the goal of the session from "making it come" to "visiting where it is already mine." When the session ends, keep the state, not the vigil: live the following day as the person for whom the matter is settled. It is the day, not the night, that has been contradicting you.
