Mastery & Daily Practice | Lesson 7 of 9

Your New Story

The closing lesson: what is actually possible, and the final script of the person you have become.

You began this course with a desire and a snapshot of your old assumptions. You end it with a toolkit, a practice, and, if the lessons did their work, a quietly different answer to the question "who am I?" This last lesson is about the size of what is now open to you.

"The whole vast world is no more than man’s imagining pushed out."
Neville Goddard, from his lectures

What this means: Taken seriously, this sentence removes every ceiling. If the world is imagination pushed out, then the limits you have lived under were imagined too, and what was imagined can be reimagined. Neville did not offer this as poetry. He offered it as a working principle and spent forty years showing people how to test it.

From the Founder's Journal

"Whatever you manifest will surely come, even what looks impossible. If it is unprecedented but violates no law of this world, it must come; simply reach the state where you already have it. That day I stopped believing in the law and started knowing it: manifestation is inevitable."
From the founder’s personal journals. The practical takeaway: everything that anyone in this world already has or does is, by definition, achievable within this world’s laws, and therefore reachable by assumption. Every desire you will work with in this course — money, love, health, work, confidence — lives squarely inside this world’s laws. Assume, persist, receive.
Go deeper: The Law and The Promise

Students who read Neville beyond this course will discover that his teaching had two halves. Everything in this curriculum is what he called The Law: imagining creates reality, and you can use it deliberately to change your circumstances.

In his later years Neville increasingly taught what he called The Promise: a mystical account, drawn from his own visionary experiences, of scripture unfolding in the individual — what he described as God awakening in man. He considered it greater than the Law, and he kept teaching the Law anyway, because, in his words, people need to eat before they philosophize.

This course teaches only the Law, deliberately: the Law is testable this month, in your own life, with the desire you named in Lesson 0. The Promise is there in his later lectures whenever you are ready to read further — we mention it so you know the map is bigger than the territory we walk here, not because anything in this course depends on it.

Where to go from here

  • Re-take any module quiz whenever you want a refresher; the lessons are always here.
  • Read Neville in his own voice: the books at the Internet Archive and the lecture archive at realneville.com.
  • Keep one desire in active practice at all times. The skill grows by use.
  • Teach someone gently, when they ask. Explaining the law deepens it in you.

Practice: The Final Script: Your New Story

Your last exercise is the largest, and it closes the loop you opened in Lesson 0. Your original objective is shown above this box (sign in to see it) — read it once, then write from the life where it is simply a fact.

Only you can read this. Nothing you write is published, shared, or shown to anyone else. Write honestly.
